Festival 2016

Got a gardening problem you need solving?

Or want to find out about growing fruit and veg in containers? Come along to the City of Derby Allotment and Garden Festival and listen to talks and interviews and join in 'Gardeners Question Time'

From 1pm to 1.45pm we have Amber Locke - Derbyshire’s ‘Raw Vegan Blonde’ blogger, ‘veg artist’ & and cook. Already under the radar of Vogue and Jamie Oliver. Amber has recently exhibited her art work in a London gallery. She will talk about how fruit & veg inspired her art work and her raw vegan lifestyle.

Alan Titchmarsh wishes us well!

Thank you to Alan Tichmarsh for sending us this message of support:

"My very first experience of gardening was on my grandfather's allotment. It fostered a love of gardening that has governed my life.

In my twenties I had an allotment of my own to help feed the family, so I know just how important allotments are in the local community and the fine camaraderie that builds up between 'allotmenteers'.
